The Midnight Bluesmen are a Virginia-based blues rock revival band bringing the power of classic guitar music into the modern era. Drawing from blues, classic rock, funk, soul, and the great guitar players of the past and present, our music combines timeless sounds, modern energy, and a groove that gets crowds moving.

Founded at Christopher Newport University in 2020, the Bluesmen began as a group of college musicians united by a shared love of blues, rock, and songwriting. Since then, the band has developed an original catalog and performed throughout the Richmond music scene.
Today, we're focused on writing, recording, and bringing our take on blues-rock to stages around Virginia.
